How We Work at Blaze Olympia
Learn how our teams collaborate across coaching, venues, events, sales, marketing and support functions while staying connected and focused on delivering the best experience for athletes and customers.
Sport happens on the ground. Coaching, venue operations and events need people to be present, responsive and close to the action. At the same time, not every task needs to be done from a venue or office.
That is why our workplace approach is simple: work from the place that helps you do your job well, stay connected with the team and be present when our customers, athletes or partners need you.
On the ground
Coaches, front-desk teams, venue operations and event teams are mainly based at the venue or event location. Their schedules follow coaching batches, bookings, tournaments and operating hours.
Flexible by role
Sales, marketing, partnerships, recruitment and administration may work from home, an office or a venue depending on the task, meeting and business need.
Connected as one team
Wherever we work, we stay reachable, share updates and step in when the team needs support. Flexibility works only when communication and ownership stay strong.
What flexibility means here
Flexibility at Blaze Olympia is practical, not complicated. It may mean working remotely for focused tasks, visiting a venue for a meeting, joining a content shoot, supporting a tournament on a weekend or changing the day’s plan when customer demand requires it.
Work location and timing depend on the role. Team members should agree their working arrangement with the reporting manager and communicate any change in advance.
How we stay connected
- Be available during agreed working hours and respond through the company’s approved communication channels.
- Share clear updates, handovers and reports so work does not stop between teams or venues.
- Join online or in-person meetings based on the topic, urgency and people involved.
- Raise issues early—especially anything affecting customers, athletes, payments, safety or event delivery.
What we value in our workplace
We are building a growing sports organisation, so every role matters. We value people who take ownership, communicate honestly, support others and keep the customer experience at the centre of their work.
- Ownership over excuses
- Respectful communication
- Reliable follow-through
- A customer-first and athlete-first mindset
- Willingness to learn and improve
Safety, respect and responsibility
Everyone working with Blaze Olympia is expected to follow venue rules, safety procedures, child-safeguarding requirements and professional standards relevant to their role. Company, customer and employee information must be handled responsibly.
We want our workplace to feel welcoming and respectful. Decisions are made based on the role, capability, performance and business need, without unfair discrimination.
A practical note
This page gives a general view of how we work. Exact schedules, attendance expectations and work locations can differ by role and are communicated through the offer letter, employment terms, manager instructions or internal policies.
As Blaze Olympia grows, this workplace approach may also evolve.
